About Pele Publications

Pele Publications was founded in 1998, and is focused on publishing books authored or co-authored by Catherine Kitcho.

We are not a conventional publisher and do not accept unsolicited book proposals from individuals or inquiries from agents.

Pele Publications was named after Pele, who is the legendary goddess of fire and volcanoes who makes her home on the Big Island of Hawaii, at the Halemaumau Crater within Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. She is a symbol of powerful, creative energy.

History

Since 1998, Pele Publications has been the publisher for the Launch Doctor series of books, authored by Catherine Kitcho. These books are focused on high tech marketing, and the management of new products and ventures. They include:

-High Tech Product Launch (1999)
-From Idea to Launch at Internet Speed ( 2001)
-High Tech Product Launch - Second Edition (2005)

From Idea to Launch at Internet Speed is currently out of print. High Tech Product Launch was replaced by High Tech Product Launch - Second Edition.

Pele Publications is also the publisher for four other books written or co-authored by Catherine Kitcho:

-In 1999, the novel Looking for Mr. Butterfingers was published; it is a romantic comedy.

-In 2011, Pele Publications published its first book in the humor/wine and spirits genre, The Dysfunctional Family Drink Book. Catherine Kitcho is a co-author. It is available at several online bookstores there is more information about the book at the website: dysfunctionalfamilydrinks.com..

-The latest book by Catherine Kitcho is Dark Side Redemption, the sequel to Dark Side Identity. It was published in May 2021.

-A humorous memoir, Running through the Smorgasbord, is also in the works.
